Storage Solutions

Living rooms : Remove clutter from bookcases and shelving by using colored containers, baskets, or boxes to contain DVD's, CD's, books, magazines and candles. Use an ottoman that opens to enclose pillows, blankets, photo albums or books.

Bathrooms : Use containers or small bowls to organize items on the counter or within the medicine cabinet. Shelving that fits above the toilet is useful to hold towels and other toiletries.

The bedroom: use the space underneath the bed with shallow totes (for shoes, out of season clothing, extra blankets, sheets, wrapping paper, craft supplies, or magazines)

The kitchen: An old canister can be used to hold utensils. Small baskets can hold kitchen towels & Cookbooks. Use a corkboard on a wall ,with push pins to hold receipts, coupons, a calender . Shoe organizers can be used on the back of a pantry door to hold soup packets, spices etc.
Use your imagination!

Entry: hooks can be used to hold coats or buckets with mittens, hats, and scarves or summer items, umbrellas, or bags. Using boxes or buckets at the top and bottom of stairs allows for quick clean-up and easy to return lost or misplaced items.
